- Regardless of their ZIP code, every Arkansas child deserves a world-class education. I support schools of all types, including public schools, charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, parochial schools, and homeschooling.
- I voted to increase public teacher pay in order to reward our best performing teachers and to attract more highly-qualified professionals to our state.
- I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” model for education. Every child is unique and parents deserve choices to provide their child an education that meets their individual needs.
- Critical Race Theory has no place in our public education system. Children should be taught a curriculum that will prepare them to be successful adults, not revisionist history that teaches them to hate America.
- Arkansas schools MUST focus on literacy. Our goal should be for every child to read at grade level. We also need a focus on STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), so that we can meet our workforce needs of the future.
